RESOLUTION HONORING THE INGHAM MEDICAL CARE FACILITY ON THE EVENT OF THEIR 25^TH ANNIVERSARY

RESOLUTION #03-252

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Medical Care Facility began as the Ingham County Poor Farm in 1844; and

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Medical Care Facility's distinguished history continues to influence its commitment to excellence by being a leading provider of health care services for the aging; and

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Medical Care Facility has demonstrated its high standards by receiving deficiency-free surveys from the Department of Consumer & Industry Services; and

WHEREAS, the employees of Ingham County Medical Care Facility are dedicated to their residents and they strive to promote quality of life through dignity, respect and hospitality in our customer services; and

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Medical Care Facility is comprised of a dedicated team of staff and managers not content to rest on past laurels, but continually striving to combine vision and excellence in order to be the provider of choice of long term care services for the aged and the chronically ill in the communities we serve.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby honor the Ingham County Medical Care Facility on the event of their 25th anniversary of their current facility.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Commissioners expresses its sincere appreciation to the Board, administration, and staff of the Ingham County Medical Care Facility for the on-going innovation and commitment to the care and well being of the residents.
